$40 cover? No thanks. Other than $2 drinks (I don’t drink enough to make the combination of that and the cover seem like a good value), the place has gotten ridiculously expensive for what you get, with and without the feature entertainer.

I hadn’t met Melody either. Anyone C-cup or better with the other assets also favorable would be a big improvement. The gals I saw a few weeks ago seemed way too young / innocuous to be convincing strippers / make-believe companions. And SECURITY seemed to be dictating too much of the mood. Probably another encounter with the 2 gals I know from the older eras there will tell more of the story. The only thing I know is the Mill’s longtime floor manager (herself a former dancer) went off to the club in DC that is one of the few with VIP rooms (with no lap dances, so that gives you an idea of the limited value, and yes I reviewed that one). Somebody must said something to somebody, or they’ve found this business model works.

Highly accurate review. The girls are actually pretty good looking here but there aren't many options in NoVA for them if this is the profession they're looking for. Baltimore (despite the downhill slide most cities seem to be suffering these days) offers better options,

OP overrated this for what it is. $ value is probably the worst I've seen outside DC. Dancers are good for what the place is, club gets demerits for its drink menu, prices, and too many guys wandering around with headsets and hanging with dancers.

Some of the gals go away for the summer yo places where they can make money and come back for football season.

I guess if you arrive before 8 it’s more laid back.

I’ve been to Gold once, on a Saturday night. You get more value for your laps there even though it’s not topless. The 15 min-30 min-60 min rooms at Mill are way more expensive but I can definitely say there are two gals (the ones named in the review) that go beyond the normal. There may be others but on this night they were the only two doing rooms during the time I was there (and one of them was with me).

Idlad, a lot of the gals put makeup or latex on their nips, and don’t mess around with the more obvious pasties.

I’ve just stopped going completely. I’m jaded even with clubs in other cities with more benefits, with this it’s even worse thanks to the pricing.

Jocelyn’s been there for a while. She does have a great bod and lots of charm. She seems to work Sunday nights and early in the week. She also has a number of regulars and she could well have been in the one hour VIP which is not unusual.

She ROB’d you on the $40 for what amounts to a one way dance. Some girls are better with it than others but they have to keep a foot on the ground at all times. Not even worth the stated $30 per dance given the songs are cut short at 3-3.5 minutes. 2 for 1 is better value except there are wandering Lap Dance Police during those times. VIP rooms are pricey but offer better mileage/ intimacy, even though they have cameras. Best to try and get to know the girl first. If she rushes you into a dance, that’s a universal signal it’s not going to be anything special.

My suspicion is combination of cost-of-living and millennial upscale technology nerds preferring more upscale venues like Gold Club that have lunch buffets and stuff.

The only club worth going to in the Commonwealth of Virginia is the one in Roanoke.

Good wordy review. I’ve spent more than planned before, but not quite what you did. The reality is, for what you paid for the 40 min, you can get 2 hours of in-out action in your hotel room in larger Canadian cities (especially the one where they mostly speak French), and get a $25 bottle of champagne at the liquor store beforehand. As for PaperMoon, on my few visits it’s better than one might expect but not a great value. The 10 min for $150 in an open faced booth, despite the 2-way touching, is ridiculous when you can get better mileage for less $$ in Florida, CA, AZ, Columbus OH, Atlanta, or wherever (maybe not in Louisiana or Baltimore though). All that said I’ve met at least one very nice gal - and also, another time, a borderline ROB. And yet another time, the girls were inflicted with GPS and I got nothing out of them. So YMMV.

A few extra thoughts here.....whether jukebox or DJ, songs are 3.5 min. The girls only do two dances so they have pretty short sets. It is weird when an intense song gets cutoff by the jukebox (no fade). C and I were into a groove during a Black Sabbath time and then bing! Song is cut. A yee-haw country tune followed. Weird vibe.

Accurate review. I would have knocked the club rating down another couple notches though. On the night I went, I was quite impressed by the looks / charm of the dancers. No laps and the private room is definitely not worth it (trust me on that one).

Yes I am sure there is a DC contingent and they will settle for less. If you’re coming from Cali, Baltimore is definitely a step down these days, especially given the fun times I’ve had on the Left Coast and (except for SFO) pretty reasonable prices and generous mileage. A few years ago in BAL it was not hard to chat up a girl, have her do her vertical bop on you (with feeling) and make her your regular. It’s a little more hit-or-miss now, and I blame the clubs more than the girls. The management greed is now naked for all to see, sadly unlike the girls in a lot of these so-called strip clubs. It is now OK (and often expected) to be openly a jerk in our culture, and something’s definitely been lost.

I’m actually going there Thursday to hook up with my former fave / ATF who moved South 2-3 years back (I’ve been to see her at her club a few times over the years), and who is going to be there for a few days. You take the good with the bad just about anyplace these days.

The downstairs lap dance area is a bunch of couches in a big room, which never seems to be terribly crowded. Upstairs there is a second stage and bar that is rarely used. Beyond that is a little corridor with 4 (or so) barren (at least the last time I was there) rooms with hard seats. 30 min for $300 in those. You pay the bartender downstairs just as you do for the downstairs laps. You get about the same mileage as with the laps but for longer. The gals keep the time themselves with their smartphone timers. But they are not really private, thanks to no door / curtains, though I’ve not experienced any security goons up there. All in all, better off with 4-5 dances downstairs with your favorite girl.
