Do you think strippers would get work done (CS) if they weren't stripping?
Driver through Salt Lake City and it seems like there are hundreds of plastic surgery billboards. I doubt most of the ladies in that region are strippers but there sure seems to be a healthy enhancement industry there.

The Rest of the rest of the story
Speaking of wives/no sex... I was playing basketball last night and my best friend said his wife was giving him a hard time for coming to play basketball instead of staying home with her. When we got done we were visiting and for some reason sex came up. He said he didn't want to talk about it but that sometimes he feels like he's celibate, even though he's married. Basically, once his wife found out she couldn't get pregnant (about two years into marriage), the sex stopped almost completely and that's how he's living. Since he's my friend, I didn't tell him what I thought of his ice-heart wife but since I'm on an anonymous internet forum---I can say I don't know why he's with her. She's never been hot (or even just cute) or nice and when they started dating, she told him she didn't like his friends and he couldn't hang out with us anymore.

Best clubs for couples?
I don't see Lexington, KY as a big couples destination. Most of the clubs there cater to UK and local stags since it's kind of off the beaten path.

Getting To Know Non-Dancing Staff At The SC
I also find it generally advantageous to be friendly with the staff...and it doesn't take much money. At one club I used to go to a lot, I tipped the doorman maybe $7 over the course of 3 visits. He ended up giving me $100 worth of free entry cards, which was great at this club because they don't give free coupons online and each card is numbered and signed by the manager. At another one of my favorite clubs a sirloin dinner is $8.50 and a beer is $2.50. I give the waitress $15 and tell her to keep the change (which really isn't that great of a tip) and she always brings me a bacon-wrapped filet instead of the sirloin. I end up getting much better meat and it's cheaper, with a tip, than ordering the filet off the menu.

The hot civvie in the club
I rarely see female customers at strip clubs who are not with boyfriends. It's even more rare for them to stay very long. I've seen couples leave in as little as 15 minutes at some clubs. Portland clubs tend to have more female customers/groups of girls who didn't come with guys. Sometimes it's hot when they get involved with the dancers but most of the time they're not good looking, so I'm not interested!

Which is worse for you booze or weed?
I've found the best way to have edibles is to eat lunch like normal at work and not eat anything until dinner (usually between 6 and 8 PM for me. While I'm preparing dinner on an empty stomach, I enjoy 6 or 7 5 mg THC mints (30-35 mg total) and then eat after those are all gone. If I eat at 6, I know I'm going to be buzzing pretty good by 8. My tolerance builds up really fast, so I don't usually do it more than twice per week. I make sure it's on an evening when I'm staying in for the night, usually the night after a basketball game when I know my knees are going to be a little sore.

I never tried alcohol or weed until I was in my early 30's. I smoked cigars for about two years after high school but quit when I realized I was addicted and I didn't like not being in control. When I moved to WA, weed was legal so I finally tried it last year. I bought some edibles and followed the advice I was given to slowly dose up until you found your high. I took me a couple of tries but I found a really good high and like it much more than alcohol. It costs about the same as getting drunk from good bourbon and although I may be tired the next day, I don't have a hangover or feel like shit like I sometimes do with alcohol. A good marijuana edible high for me lasts pretty intensely for 3-4 hours before I go to sleep and it also takes away the pain in my knees from years of basketball. I smoked weed once this last summer but the high didn't last as long and I didn't like the cigarette-like feeling in my lungs again, plus the smoke got on my clothes.

Strippers and social media
Facebook-I was a very early adopter and used it for about 10 years before deleting all of my friends and family. I still have my page but it has absolutely no information on it. Instagram-I follow many strippers (more than 100 local to Seattle and Portland). I don't follow anyone who I haven't met or don't have a reasonable chance of interacting with in real life. Snapchat-I have it but don't use it as I'm not a selfie fanatic so I haven't really been able to catch the bug.

Predatory Behavior--All the Rage!
I think we're all in agreement on consent vs. assault. Hell, even 15 years ago when I was just entering the professional work force, I was smart enough to know the work environment and not to mess with any woman from work, even at the drunken Christmas parties at fancy hotels! I guess the situation with dancers accusing photographers struck a nerve with me since I shoot with dancers and it makes me second guess whether or not I want to be involved in that whatsoever since who knows when an accusation will come given the current environment. I already had a girl lash out at me about a month ago because I removed all of her photos from my portfolio and it pissed her off. I had to explain that I was cutting my portfolio down to only show my absolute best work, which meant I cut 75% of my published images. I had lived up to my end of our contract, (providing 15 edited images within 2 weeks of the shoot), and that none of the images we shot together ended up making the cut, in part because she kept getting distracted by her boyfriend who was at the shoot. At the time I wondered if she might be a problem because she kept talking about her bipolar disease, her severe depression, problems with her aunt, etc. while we were shooting. Thankfully she seemed better after a couple of texts but who knows if this will pop up again in 10 years. Yikes.

Predatory Behavior--All the Rage!
The whole allegation situation is interesting to me. Like RH said, there is certainly a line between consent and assault; from what I gather here, most PL's test the boundaries but seem to be respectful when they are set. I'd venture to say that the most raucous behavior I've seen in clubs have been from "bachelor party" type crowds or loser drunks, who are generally not active members of this board. I have wondered, and have been wondering more this last week, about the chances of a dancer regretting her current behavior and then making accusations in the future. It's a killjoy and unlikely, IMO, but still at the back of my mind. With the dancer in the original post, she has become pretty angry and negative toward men (hardcore Portland feminist) in the last year whereas in the past she was always friendly and seemed to enjoy men. Two dancer friends told me they regret things they've done for money but were resigned that there was nothing they could do about it other than not do it again. What's to keep these girls from making bad decisions for money in their hot 20's, then regretting and accusing in their 40's?

Guys with SO
Rule #1: Don't Get Caught! a. Never go when you're going to be in close contact with SO without being able to shower and change clothes beforehand. b. Don't let SO wash clothes. c. Don't use personal phone or anything that can be traced to you personally. Be an internet ghost to make stalking harder. d. Don't use social media to stalk dancers...you will end up in their "people you may know" list eventually, along with your photo. e. Don't give dancers any reason to seek you (tell them you have a good job, piss them off after establishing relationship, etc.)

Daddy Issues Scientifically Proven
I admit I didn't read the entire article... I wonder if the study considered the effects of absent fathers on the sexual activity of teenage women. Almost all of the women I know who were raised by a single mother were also sexually active in high school. Mom was working after school, so there were several hours each day where the girl was more likely to be without adult supervision than a girl who came from a home with two parents. Is their sexual activity related to daddy issues (i.e. seeking male influence), or is it a function of increased opportunity for sex due to less adult supervision? Just a question...

My husband goes to Strip Clubs for conversation
"I would love to see what this woman looks like. I only know of two type of women who wear corset tops. Really hot ones, or fattys who have no business wearing anything like that." I've never seen the first type of girl...just fatties who are also stuck trying to convince themselves that morbidly obese is BBW. I have a grossly overweight cousin who has a butch cut and wears corsets because she's "edgy". Mostly she's just a mean bitch and it's no wonder she scared off her first husband. As far as the article goes, I read a strip club report but I don't see how she knows her husband never touches strippers. That's what he tells her. No strippers approached them while they were out together due to "stripper code" but I don't see how that proves he doesn't touch strippers when she's not there.

One Night Stands w/ Civies vs Strippers
"It’s probably a result of women’s fear over strippers taking better care of their men." I can give a $200 gift to my SO and get nothing or I can take $200 to the club... Many civvie women can't wrap their heads around the fact that real life relationships are not romantic comedy movies. Men who can't wrap their heads around the fact that real life relationships are not pornos end up on TUSCL.

My SO no longer asks what I'm thinking. Guess she got tired of hearing, "nothing"...which is usually the truth at the end of the day. I have come to understand that the thought of clearing your head and not having your mind constantly flooded by insignificant mental banter is completely unfathomable to most women.

Fat bastard that can afford to fuck hot strippers
What's going on in Louisville lately?
Louisville...my old stomping ground... All of the clubs here were below average compared to everywhere else I've been and I have visited a lot of clubs where I haven't left reviews. Bottoms Up...I'd never been in and seen a dancer above a 6. The bartenders were always rude and the clientele was questionable enough that any person who was not absolutely sure he could protect himself would not enter. I work with a couple men from Louisville who told me they wouldn't come here specifically based on the loiterers on the porch and those walking around the cars in the small lot. Mean bartenders, unsafe environment, and ugly dancers... Deja Vu-This club easily had the nicest looking dancers along with The Godfather. Unfortunately the no-touch rules and U of L coed GPS kept this from being a good club. I came in a few times and without fail the girls would talk to the "college hipster" who tipped $1 per song versus the middle-aged PL who tipped $20/song at the stage. When the hipster couldn't afford dances, then the girls would come looking for the PL to buy dances. Also, the doorman couldn't recognize a regular and never gave a entry discount. All of the Louisville clubs were basically the same while I lived there for a few years...mostly ugly dancers with bad attitudes and employees with bad attitudes. I can't say I miss the place at all.
