Because in 2012 the "religious right" had taken over the soul of the GOP. They spew a series of lies and hatred that I, as a Christian, simply cannot tolerate. If we call ourselves a "Christian" nation, how can we not follow the teachings of Christ - humility, tolerance, mercy, feeding the hungry, treating the sick.....these are virtues shared by mainstream Muslims, most Jews and even, (gasp!) secular humanists. I don't realistically expect this to change anyone's mind, but as for me, I am not willing to leave the nation in the hands of a lying, unprincipled thief and narcissist, or the Mitch McConnells of the world. My vote will go to Biden, not because he is the best, but because he is the better candidate.

If I was in charge of finding a new running back for my team, I would think long and hard before extending an offer to LB. He is demonstrably selfish and a lousy teammate. The Steelers stuck with him through injury and drug suspension and he repaid them by sitting out for a year despite a damn generous offer. They rightly waived him, along with Antonio Brown. The result? The Steelers are off to their best start in years. LB and AB? Both are out of the league.
