It's not an "extra" in terms of this forum. It's not something that's illegal like a BJ or FS. Well, it might technically break the law in some places but you're not going to get in trouble for it. Now some girls may ask for a tip in order to suck her nipples, just like I've occasionally been asked for a tip to touch. That doesn't make it an extra; it just means the dancer has self-identified as someone that I shouldn't dance with.

Thanks drew. There are definitely regions where you'd expect to pay less than $200 for a BJ. But it all depends on where you are.

I'm not worried about what a dancer does before me. I do care whether she takes the time to freshen up between VIPs.

How much would you expect at that club? It's reasonable in other cities so I went for it.

I used to leave my wallet in my car whenever I'd enter a club. Cash only. Then I realized that the area I was usually clubbing in was sketchy so I started bringing the wallet with me. Occasionally I'll think enough in advance to leave it at home or in my hotel room but that's rare. Either way, I'd never consider using a card in a club. There's the risk of fake charges by sketchy employees (even at a non-alcohol nude club). Outrageous fees for ATMs in a club. Plus the general discipline of only bringing as much cash as you're willing to spend. The big head needs to put some constraints on the little head.

4 decades, 14 states plus 3 Canadian provinces. Plus a bunch of countries in Europe that have listings on this site, though a lot of those aren't really strip clubs (e.g. FKKs).

I never made it to Mitchell Brothers until its twilight years, in the '10s. It was still fun with their semi-lesbian shows in the side rooms. The occasional CineStage events were often a blast: some dumb parody storyline followed by a four to six girl show on stage with toys. They'd often bring volunteers on stage to join in; I remember dildoing a blonde on stage right after she'd groped me OTP. But the OP is right that vibe was very different than what he described about the early years. Very focused on extras at that point. I was just getting into P4P so that worked for me, though I shake my head at how much I spent on CBJs back then.

Agreed that there's no harm in being explicit here - even with names - because it's completely legal.

I once met a dancer at FC who said she didn't do extras and wanted $50 per song for a nude dance. She was hot enough that I still took her for a few $30 topless dances.

I write it like I mean it, but mostly they just want my money.
I can second funonthaside's comment. When I was a newbie with strip clubs I used to rub one out if I was thinking of going to a club that night. If I was still horny enough to go after that I'd go and I'd taken the edge off to avoid unintentional LDKs. If I wasn't, well I just saved some money.
These days I mostly club when I'm traveling. If I'm in a place where I know the clubs are good (e.g. Detroit, South Florida) then I generally don't have a problem getting in the mood to go. I've probably been looking forward to it. OTOH if I'm in a place where the clubs aren't that good then I'll let my mood decide. Just this weekend I decided not to hit the clubs where I was because I wasn't feeling it. No great loss.

The majority of my visits include extras. I live in a place where extras are hard to come by at the local clubs so I rarely bother to go. I save my clubbing for when I'm on the road in places where extras are readily available. Every now and then I'll go into a cleaner club, have some good lap dances and remember how enjoyable that can be. But really, once I popped my strip club cherry my focus switched from lap dance grinding to BJs and FS.

Mostly I just reject short reviews. A review has to be pretty bad for me to hit the red button for some other reason. Normally if I'm on the fence I'll just pass on it (neither accept or reject).

There are table dance clubs in the Frankfurt RLD, right down the street from full service spots. I guess some guys just want to look.

If you don't like the changes at least say what you don't like. Being critical is fine. Don't be a whiner.

It's not the norm, but I've had a few encounters where the dancer offered extras and then, once we'd agreed on a deed and price, tells me that she has to go to the dressing room to get a condom. When the room is timed this is really annoying. As a result I usually have one in my pocket now even though it generally doesn't get used.

If the subject comes up with a stripper I always say that if I were married I wouldn't be sitting in the club talking to her. Which I like to think is true (don't laugh). Inevitably she responds by telling me how many of her regulars are married. It's hard to imagine a dancer having a problem with a married customer.

How much did she want? You're not mentioning names so no reason not to be more specific.

A couple bucks in the G-string will often bring more eye contact and enthusiasm. I find that you need to be a little proactive here.
Since you didn't name names there's no reason not to say how much the dancers were asking.

Hard to imagine that it's a trap. I've never heard of cops going undercover as dancers except in bad Skinemax movies. Even if that happened, you're pretty safe if she made the offer (and I mean explicitly, not "we can have more fun" nonsense that you get sometimes) because that would be entrapment.
Now if the club is very restrictive and the bouncers catch you doing extras you'll probably get thrown out of the club. Don't try to fight the 300 lb gorilla when he comes to toss you or you will get in some real trouble.

I mean the city, not the clubs. My visit was in pre-mongering days so if I recall I only got a few lap dances.

Maybe I don't have a full impression of the place after only one visit but...why would anyone want to go to Tucson?

Took me a while to even figure out what you were referring to. The last thing I was focused on was the design on her bikini.

Hank, the link doesn't work for me. Looks like it's because you went through your dashboard, which is specific to you.

Lots of dancers here do extras. But there are more than a few who don't and overall they seem to be less direct about it than at Synn.
