The dancer photos were good. Most of them were irrelevant but occasionally there’d be some from a dancer in Maryland or in a city I was traveling to for work.

I am not in favor of making review voting anonymous. Own your decisions. If you’re not adjudicating reviews because you’re afraid someone will complain, well then that is the system doing its job because your rejection is probably being too picky. Occasionally someone will bitch when I reject for lack of paragraphs but I own that and will defend it every single time. It’s also in keeping with this site’s philosophy. Founder has said the lack of an edit button is so that your posting history is forever tied to your (anonymous) user name.

It used to be you needed a 5/7 to approve. Now it’s 5/8. I agree that the change has allowed more shitty reviews to get approved.

The electoral college is outdated. The world and country have gotten smaller. Our internal borders really don’t matter. There’s no reason that 7-8 states get to decide who is president. There’s no reason my vote in Maryland is worth less than someone voting in Wyoming. That said, it won’t ever change. No possibility of a constitutional amendment being passed on the electoral college or really anything in our lifetimes.

When up/down voting a review I always try to default to “does the review add anything to my knowledge about the place?” Part of that calculation however is whether the review is accurate. There’s no way to tell if your review is accurate because we don’t know if the club is still run the same way, the dancer quality is the same, pricing is the same, etc. Your experience is so old there’s just no way to tell. This is why I primarily adjudicate reviews of clubs I’ve been to or know about. If someone writes a review and it’s out dated if I approve I might leave a correction in the comments. If it’s out of date and adds nothing, I’ll just downvote. Btw, if you submit an approved article you get the same 4 weeks of vip. I think you were suggested to put in the club forum for which you would not get the free 4 weeks.

Good Guys in DC has a majority of latinas. Not sure how many are Cuban but I’d bet more than a few.

I prefer nude but depending on the dancer roster, the vibe of the club, location proximity to me, prices for dances/vip, whether it’s an extras club and other factors I could go somewhere else. Our nude clubs in Maryland have alcohol so I don’t usually have to make that choice. When I travel in Texas, I’ve mostly gone to the Bucks Wild BYOB clubs that are full nude.

I watched most of it. I thought Vance was the clear winner because he actually came off as smart, reasonable and measured, all of those having eluded him so far in the campaign. Yes, his refusal to concede that Trump lost the election in 2020 and his stance on abortion was extreme, but that was to be expected. Walz did fine but fumbled the “I’m a knucklehead” response and he was clearly nervous especially at the beginning. I haven’t watched any commentary today, but most of the quick reactions were some surprise at how respectful the two VP candidates were, especially that they acknowledged areas of common ground. What struck me most however is how different the debate was from any in the last 8 years. The dems could make a commercial with a four way split screen of the pres/vp candidates and set it to the tune of Sesame Street song “one of these things is not like the other, one of these things doesn’t belong…” All of the candidates is coming off as normal. I don’t find Lizzo attractive but I think her message is good. I’d rather be surrounded by confident people comfortable in their own skin. I don’t need to date them.

I’m good with anything bald up to neatly trimmed. It’s less about the look than maintaining operational efficiency. As long as it’s short enough so the hairs don’t get caught in my teeth I’m very happy.

I tip a little more than usual unless the host expressly tells me no tipping. While 20% is a good guide for bar drinks, percentages don’t equate as well. It takes just as much effort for someone to get me a Jim Beam as it does a Pappy Van Winkle. I just try to take of bartenders and servers and the karma usually comes back.

Indictment alleges Adams took money from Turkish government during his election campaign, used it to get marching funds and conspired to conceal the source. Then, after he was elected the Turkish government was trying to open a consulate building that wouldn’t pass fire inspection so Adams called the fire chief who had said Adams threatened his job if he didn’t pass the building. The fire chief approved the fire inspection even though the building should not have passed. Feds still have to prove it, but if true, that’s bribery and putting people at risk in a potentially unsafe building.

I don’t see Pete Davidson as especially attractive either, but a number of women have told me he is attractive in a freakish kinda way. Who knows. He is also reputed to be packing an anaconda, so there’s that. Kanye was certainly very pissed off about the size of Pete’s package and bitching about it on air when Pete was with KK.

I get that we’ve all become conditioned to question sources from the other side of the political spectrum. For example, questioning the timing of the Robinson revelations. No doubt CNN dropped it when it would attract clicks, but why else would anyone investigate the Lt Gov of NC, a largely ceremonial position that is not tied in any way to the governorship? They just started digging on this guy and what they found is substantial. His own party is deserting him. That’s pretty solid. As for Adams, as a former NYer I was glad to see if the city was going to elect a dem, at least he was a former cop. I lived in NY when Giuliani cleaned up the city and it was a big deal. The stuff about Adams not actually living in the city during his campaign was a bit off putting, but if he cleaned up the city, who cares? Living in manhattan is expensive. The corruption rumors in his administration started swirling almost immediately. My guess is one of the other indicted or cooperating targets ratted on Adams to save their own skin. Mayer there’s nothing to it, but read the indictment before condemning it as lawfare. The feds are pretty careful with indictments. Could he have been targeted? Sure. But did he commit a crime? Let’s find out what the feds said he did first.

Steering back to Mark Robinson, the story has only gotten more credible. This has the potential to cost Trump North Carolina, the first republican to lose a NC statewide election in 30 years I think, though I don’t believe that will happen. - the posts were tied to an email address and user name that Robinson used on public sites to do reviews like Amazon and model train sites - the posts are 10-12 years old - despite being strongly pro-life, he’s admitted to paying for an abortion in the late 1980’s for his then girlfriend, now wife - most of his campaign staff has quit and Trump didn’t invite him and didn’t mention him in his NC rallies since the story broke - Politico reported that the posts were made from an IP address near his then residence - The Republican Governors Assn has cut off his funding - the Harris campaign is bombarding NC with commercials showing Trump praising him Yet, while denying those posts were his, Robinson hasn’t sued CNN for libel or slander. Oh, and somehow those posts that weren’t his were somehow deleted from the Nude Africa site.
