Bicycling to the Strip Club
yes think about DTW in July, hope your $$ you have to submit make up for the smell. And in reading that you are already biking the weekly mileage than we do not need to go through the math on advantage of health for biking verses the risk of being too old to go to a strip club. So maybe a compermise of a moter bike to the Kroger (free parking and all) then the exercise of walking. Not sure what the goals are, saving money? exercise? I assume you live in Westland ( or wasteland as we call it) so rent is not an issue. You drive a BMW so available desposible income is not an issue. You spend at least 3 hrs. in a club so again deposible income is not an issues. Detroit and subs have the worse mass transportation options, so GREEN is not the motivation? Help me Help you:)

Take it from a Stripper: Strippers are Awesome
Thanks Starbeam I have been catching up on my reading since the T-day break and I read Jessxxbby article first and I was starting to bum out until I read yours. I travel and visit more than a few clubs in the world and I always seek out performers (for respect to jess I did not say providers) with your attitude. Hope to run into you when your on the clock.

Strip Clubbing in Mexico
wow I guess if you call hong kong a strip club then I disagree with most that has been said here. My Mexico clubbing has been limited to TJ and only in the zona in TJ. All visits have been very safe and cheap and as complete as I would want them. I have never seen a tranny although I'm sure it could be found in TJ but I guess you would have to look for it. I on the other hand can not understand why anyone would go to a strip club in San Deigo with TJ just a few miles south. Travel safe

I agree, TJ is 15 miles south I believe the only people in a SD strip club can not get a passport even then I think the local hooters have better mileage.

8 Things Dancers Don't Want to Hear
I also try to stay away from traditional jeans for fear that after a full day of a dancer rubbing on jean material will leave a "mark" on her. While I would not go to the sweat pants level I try to wear a softer material. I have had numberous dancers thank me on my choice of pants which has influenced my choice. Some offical "out of the club dancer" feedback will be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Pros and Cons of Being a Strip Club Regular
I like that fine line between being a "reg" and appearing to be a freelancer.I travel a lot but many times to the same remote locations. I find a major advantage in being a regular is that you know the club and the dancers and know who to avoid and who to go to. One advantage of being a freelancer is that the dancer may not remember you and try harder to sell you. I like being able to respond to the question "do you come here often" with "I have been here before". I find a major con of being a regular at my local clubs is that one or more of the dancers will "mark" you like a dog and none of the newer dancers will approach you and if you approach them they tell you they thought I was with x and they do not want to cross x. Even after I declare my independance they stay distance unless x or y is not working. Too much BS. As a freelancer I feel I have a run of the club but as I try to visit the same remote clubs I know the personality of the club.

Old Guys "Weird Out" Younger Men in Strip Clubs
@farmerart-"Something that has not been discussed in this thread is the older guy who prefers the older dancer" That is what I was trying to say above: "As an "older" residence of the hobby, I would rather have a dance and ect with a over 30 MILF then a under 25 newby"

Old Guys "Weird Out" Younger Men in Strip Clubs
Nice thead, I visit about 15-20 clubs throughout North America, some more often then others. I have found that if I reach the status of being noticed at a club, I more often then not have a challenge of brushing off the younger dancers as they will sit and talk and interupt my plans. I either have to tell them to "please don't let me interupt your working" or tell them I am just wanting to relax and enjoy the view.Problem is there is a respect among most dancers that once they have "marked" you as theirs the others stay away but within a distance. I would like all dancers to know that just because you see me sit and pay for a dance from one of you co-workers does not mean I am not available to all.I find this to happen with the youngest and newest of dancers more so then the more experienced dancers. As an "older" residence of the hobby, I would rather have a dance and ect with a over 30 MILF then a under 25 newby. This should put me in good graces with the younger hobbiest. Also the next time you see a dancer, setting for an extended time with somebody, just remember it may not be my/his fault and he might thank you if you come to his rescue. :)
