Breathe, breathe in the air
Opening a club: each state is different and then you have local government to deal with. I would say 2/3rds of the process is the same across the country.
As far as same size cities and number of clubs, you are right. Some cities have a lot, some don't. It all gets down to supply and demand and what drives that supply and demand.
The Detroit metro used to enjoy a very high standard of living compared to the rest of the country. A middle class with a lot of disposable income created a lot of demand.
The flip side is where state and local laws are so restrictive that there's little demand or supply.

Ok, stopped in this afternoon. It's open, any construction is complete and they are fully stocked with booze, food and dancers.
Cover is $10 after 7. Booths are $20 (I'm guessing that starts at 7 as well). Valet is $6. My Crown and water was $10.75. They have some $7 food specials for noon to 2. They have $4 domestics and $5 premiums for MNF.
I spoke with Brian Conway, he's a manager, maybe the general manager. They're really trying to drive sales with the kitchen. They have sushi on Tuesdays. December 10th they're having a big game buffet. The menu looked great, Surf and Turf (~$60) and lamb (~$35) for instance. It's not quite as good as the Playhouse but definitely not pub grub. Did this place have top notch food before they closed?
The only time I had been here was a couple years ago. It's pretty much the same set up as I remember. The place looked great, clean and well kept. They have a nice selection of liquor, beer and wine. They've got premium cigars but it didn't look like they were in a humidor.
Oh, and the talent. Very nice looking line-up on an early Friday afternoon. Brian said they have 30-40 strippers on Friday and Saturday nights, 15-20 on week nights and 15 or so during the afternoons. I should have been getting a lapper instead of yapping with the manager!
It looks like the LS doesn't want to be in the Top 10, they want to be #1. I love that attitude. The wait staff was great. Bartender remembered my name (not a big deal but she did), bouncers greeted me as the walked by, and the waitresses said hi. Brian talked with me for half an hour, offered me some of his fruit plate, and dropped 4 passes on me.
LS will be on my radar from now on.

I got about a 2 minute hand job at bar today from a dancer that had her tits hang out. She really wanted my wallet to open up. It wasn't a happy ending for either of us. I have to say, a free HJ for demonstration purposes only isn't the worst thing that can happen to you.

But JJ, you can't swindle an extra $50 out of a guy if you don't play on his good natured heart.

There are other sites on the interweb besides Reality Kings and TUSCL?

There is only one reason to tell your wife you were at a SC: it makes her so friggin horny to hear about your outing that she completely eclipses the 22yo's on stage.

"In higher class establishments, this hole will be fabricated with duck tape to prevent genital chaffing."
This would be my tag line if TUSCL had tag lines

I sit where the booze is, at the bar. Strippers don't have any trouble finding me, waitresses sometimes do. Getting a stripper's attention has never been a problem.

I wasn't going to mention it but it's Otis. We had Otis elevators in the dorms. She said she could push my buttons and make me go up or go down. Sometimes I just tell people it from Andy Griffith.

Drippy, do you know their hours? I've been meaning to do a an airport tour. Playhouse for lunch then to the Landing Strip and maybe up to FC and Bogarts.

I can't imagine how that conversation transpired.
"Could you look at my transmission, I think it's slipping. Speaking of slipping, Obama is slipping in the polls, what do you think of him? And speaking of polls, do you prefer pole dancers over hookers?"

I think that's Weird Al
Back in the olden days in college, my girlfriend named my dick. My roommates over heard the name. Fortunately they thought it was a pet name for me and not specifically for my dick. Unfortunately it stuck for a long time. Now I use it in the clubs. I had to show a bartender I've know for two year my drivers license to prove my real name.

JJ, it's for SODOMY!
I love the word sodomy. Sodomy sounds so much dirtier than anal or greek. It even edges out butt fucking. Cornhole sounds too hillbilly.

Isn't this the perfect argument to stay out of the Deja Vu's? You spend all day on the clock at work, why do you want some time clock hound beating your balls in the club? The old card system was bad enough.
Lansing might be one of the better Vu's but I just can't bring myself to contribute to the McStrip Club atmosphere. So fuck the L-DV, Omar's is much better and Cheetahs is too. Or better yet, go to Flint or the D.

Approximately 2 hours, give or take 2 hours.
I do have 'stripper buddy' that I hang with a lot. We don't do dance very often. Mostly just chit chat.

I think there's something to the artistic approach to pole dancing. There's some art there. High art? Hardly. An expression of grace, beauty, strength and agility? Yeah, a to a point.
I like good pole dancing. Unfortunately in the 313, dancers think walking around the pole is a trick. It's pretty lame at most clubs.

HJ's just recently made my wife's list of approved strip club activities. I've only had one so far and it was very freakin' hot. I could describe it but I think everyone here knows the ending.
The best thing about that HJ was how horny it made my wife! She gets turned on hearing about my outings, this one nearly pushed her over the edge. Even after approval and an excellent experience, I'm still mostly a groper.
There's a part time dancer in the metro that whose talents I'm craving to meet...

Terry is a guy. I've asked a few strippers about him, they all agree he's a creep. Most won't go alone and 2 won't shop there.

I've been to Everything A Girl Wants in Jackson a few times. They carry a lot of stripper gear. I've bought a pair of platforms once and some fishnet stockings and sleeves another time. The Owner, Terry, is kinda creepy.
Victoria Secrets isn't all that great for D cup girls. They don't have nearly as many things for D's that they do for B's. I don't think they have a single corset for D's. And they're pricey Perhaps the quality is in line with the price, I don't know.
