All rain here too on the coast. Windy as fuck though. No power outage here, though there are some not that far away. Going to get really damn cold after the storm passes though. Winter in New England, that's the deal sometimes.

Don't forget Grady Little leaving Pedro in against the Yankees followed by the Aaron Boone extra innings walk off against Tim Wakefield.

Two friends and I were in the parking lot at Great Woods before a Van Halen concert. We were sitting on the back trunk of my parents' car smoking a joint when a guy comes up to my friend sitting next to me and asks if he has any to sell. When he says yes, the guy pulls a badge out of his shirt. Undercover Mansfield PD. Fuck. Friend has a half ounce in his pocket. Cop: "is there anything else in the car that I should know about?" Me: "Yeah, there's a bag of pot in the glove compartment, roaches in the ashtray and a case of Labatt Blue in the trunk." We were all under 21, hence disclosing the beer.
The cop and his partner are talking to each other about exactly what they are going to do. I assume my friend with the bag is getting arrested and that as the driver of the car, I'm getting arrested as well. I'm asking my third friend, who probably would not be getting arrested if he can drive a stick shift (parents' car was a manual") and that he should follow us to the police station and bail us out and we'd probably miss the opening acts but still get to see Van Halen.
Then like a gift from God, a scalper walks up to the 2 undercovers and offers to scalp them tickets and they completely turn their attention to him. They ended up making my friend dump the weed out on the ground, mash it around with his foot and poured two of the beers on it. Then they let us go and actually left us with a 12 pack, didn't even take all of the beer. One of the luckiest close calls of my youth. Van Halen was great that night too...

Strip clubs, casino/poker rooms = places I never using my ATM card or a credit card. I bring the money I am willing to spend or lose and that's it. The best way to avoid making a bad decision is take away the possibility of making it in the first place.

^ years ago I saw a Buffalo fan walking through the Philadelphia airport wearing perhaps the funniest sports T-shirt I've ever seen:
Wide Right, Foot In the Crease, Forward Lateral...Buffalo, screwed again!
I could not stop laughing.

Fuck her right in the pussy.
Seriously doubt I could have done 3 VIPs even in my younger days. Now, not if my life depended on it.

Rockie - totally agree, yet there are many who swear by it. Personally, hamburger and onion is my go to.

Lynwood Cafe in Randolph, MA. The finest example of South Shore Bar Pizza in existence. Personal sized, cracker thin crusted beauties with the cheese (cheddar) and toppings right to the edge. Walking through the door is like walking back in time. It opened in 1949 and I wouldn't be surprised if they haven't spent $100 on the interior since it opened. Cash only, take out pizzas are served between two cardboard plates wrapped in a brown paper bag rather than a pizza box, and the servers are best described as abrupt. The recipe has not changed one bit over time and a pizza today tastes the same as it did 20 years ago, or 40 years ago. Or 60 years ago.

Anywhere there are Titties.
It's become the same as the NFL where "Most Valuable Player" in reality means "Most Valuable Quarterback"

Never been to Detroit, though from reviews and discussions on here it seems the clubbing scene is a lot of fun. I've had multiple great times in South Florida, so based on personal experience I'm going to have to vote Miami.

Providence. Definitely punches above it's weight both in terms of strip clubs and food. It is definitely helped in the strip club department by being only around an hour from Boston and the strip club scene in Massachusetts being awful for the most part, so it gets to serve as the outlet for Massachusetts guys looking to actually have fun at a strip club. As evidenced by all the Massachusetts license plates you see in the parking lots.

Doesn't it suck when you decide to make a Plan B and then you just end up with Plan nothing? Been there. Sometimes it's just better to take advantage of the opportunity you have, rather than hoping for a better one. But like you, I do like variety and new experiences. All part of the clubbing calculus. Sometimes it ends up adding up, sometimes not.

There’s a reason Rumours sold the bajillion copies that it has, it’s a virtually perfect pop album. While I have always been a fan of Stevie Nicks’ unique voice, there is no doubting Christine McVie’s essential contributions to Fleetwood Mac. No doubt she will be missed.

Nope. The original post is stupid, trolling, or both. Never connect a name to extras. It is nobody's best interests to do so.

Years ago while skiing, I somehow suddenly lost control and ended up a good 20 yards into the woods to the side of a steep trail. Totally thought I was going to die or at the very least break something. I was shocked and thankful afterwards afterwards as I took stock and confirmed that all four limbs were okay etc.
