The last time I had jury duty in Massachusetts when I called the phone number provided the day before the recorded message was that my assigned panel would not be necessary and we didn't need to show up and I got credit for jury duty without having to go. Which was nice. Gammanu - I agree with you about jury duty. It is a violation of law for an employer to take negative action against an employee because they have jury duty as it is against public policy. Here in Massachusetts it is a criminal offense to blow off jury duty. Periodically, the local courts will summons a bunch of people to court for failure to show up for jury duty. 10-12 years ago, late in the year the Superior Court in the county where I now live was running so low on jurors that they sent a bus to the largest shopping mall in the area and just grabbed residents of that county who were there and brought them straight to the courthouse.

I've ran into guys I knew from my hometown at clubs in Providence maybe 3 or so times. I just acted the same as if I ran into them in a regular bar or club. No biggie.

That's what I dislike the most about hitting clubs in Florida when I visit is the smoking. Coming from Massachusetts where smoking in public places hasn't been a thing for so long that you don't even think about anymore, stepping into a club with clouds of smoke is like culture shock now.

A few weeks ago I went to one of the local clubs. I got nude lap dances from three dancers and afterwards discovered a bloodstain on the crotch of my pants. There was no way to determine which dancer had bestowed this gift on me, but it totally put a damper on my mood after I discovered it and that was the end of my night. Maybe next time I'll just go for topless dances...

Mark - you speak for yourself and perhaps for a sizable portion of Trump supporters. However, there is also a sizable number of Trump supporters that support Trump and only Trump and will support no one else, especially if Trump himself tells them not to. If Trump loses the Republican primary, he will claim it was stolen from him like the 2020 election. Even if he did not run a third party campaign, at a minimum he would never concede, never endorse the nominee, and would not encourage his supporters to vote for the nominee. A significant percentage of his supporters would stay home on Election Day and he would ensure the Dems win. Again. This is from someone who voted for Trump twice, though really someone who voted against the Democrats. Trump is a malignant narcissist, a cancer who is now actively and intentionally damaging the party that elected him. The one thing I want from Trump now is the one thing he will never do, quietly fade into the background.

With the amount of near death experiences the dude survived over the years I don’t know if he had nine lives, but he certainly had more than one.

We have no shortage of roundabouts in Massachusetts. We call them rotaries here. Sounds like being used to them might make the adjustment a bit easier.

^ There's a Junior's on the ground floor of the Fox Tower (formerly MGM Tower) at Foxwoods. We had a suite there for a bachelor's party a few years back and I had breakfast at Junior's both mornings that weekend. Didn't have any cheesecake though, at least not for breakfast.

Not a fan of wild, unnatural hair colors. Generally not a fan of really short hair, but some women can pull it off. But Sinead O’Connor style wiffle/shaved is a bridge too far for me. Other than that, almost anything hair wise can work on the right woman. Sexy is sexy and can be many looks and many things.

I probably go to Desire once about every 6 weeks or so. Is that often enough to be a "regular"? No, IMO. How often does one need to go to be a "regular"? Once a week? Multiple times a week? Twice a month? People's opinions vary widely. I don't think the term "regular" in this context is amenable to a precise definition.
