It's been said that nobody wanted to follow him on stage, including Elvis. He was a hard act to follow.

I don't see what she supposedly did wrong here. She has her price. Either you're willing to pay it or you're not. If your're not, don't and kindly go your separate way. Certainly not worth going out of your way to post here to complain about it and call her out by name.

Anywhere there are Titties.
Tetra - "that's just how I was raised" can be used in a positive manner. Example, showing up for a party with dessert in hand and the host says "you didn't need to bring anything" My response: "a guest doesn't show up empty handed, that's just how I was raised."

Springfield, MA is pretty bad. It’s kid brother nearby Holyoke is even worse. I had to be there on business a few months ago and was there downtown at 1 on a weekday afternoon and there was nobody on the streets. Deserted, just nothing going on. It was very creepy.
Also, Waterbury can throw its hat in the ring with the other CT cities that have been mentioned.

Ish - I don't know that I'd say the building is cursed. Every club that has been there has done it to themselves.

But not too old!
I remember when Fantasies was the most popular club in Providence. If you went on a Friday or a Saturday it was wall to wall both downstairs and upstairs at Fantasy Island, with both stages going upstairs and not a seat by the stage to be found. It's changed so much for the worse that people don't even believe you when you try to tell them how much different this place used to be.

I highly doubt tonight's abortion of a game is going to be too entertaining.

Shadow - I had something similar happen to me at one of the nicer hotels in Center City Philadelphia. I went into my room, went to hang my garment bag in the closet to discover it was full of someone else’s clothes.
I immediately called the front desk to let them know that Houston we have a problem. They were duly horrified at the mistake and things were quickly made right.

^ Everyone forgets how much shit Boston sports fans ate for so long before the tide turned. Celtics had gone 22 years before winning in 2008 and that was the best of the four. Bruins hadn't won since Bobby Orr in 1972 before winning the Cup in 2011. The Pats were a joke for most of their history pre-Brady/Belichick, being so bad at points that they didn't sell out home games and we couldn't even watch them on TV because they were blacked out. And of course the Red Sox famously didn't win a win a World Series from 1918 until finally breaking through in 2004.
1987 to 2001 was overall about as bleak as it gets for a city with teams in all 4 major sports. So I consider the last twenty years or so as positive payback for everything we had to suffer through for so long.

I live about 20 minutes away from the Boston suburb where I grew up. I'm there every week to play poker with a group of guys I've known my entire life (or at least close to it).

^ he also got jobbed the first time he fought for the title against Vito Antofuermo. That fight was so obviously not a draw that Mills Lane the referee told Hagler after the fight that he would raise his right hand after the result was announced he was so sure Hagler won.

Gone Away - The Offspring. One of the most painful songs about losing someone close to you I've ever heard. "And I feel like heaven's so far away. And it feels like the world has grown cold now that you've gone away..."

^ this. Biden (or the people running him behind the scenes) are betting that their supporters hate Trump more than his supporters love him, and that if they continue to make everything about TRUMP all the time, that they will turn out more of their base than he will and eke it out.
I was never a fan of Biden and am even less of one now. But I'm willing to bet that 15 years ago, or even 10 years ago before he began to decline physically and mentally, he'd have called AOC and her ilk the day after he was elected and told them I'm the President, you're one of 435 so shut the fuck up and let the adults handle things. But now, he doesn't have the strength or the werewithal to not be rolled by the left wing fringe of the Democratic Party. There is no doubt that he's moved significantly to the left or to put it more accurately, been forced/pushed/dragged to the left.

I've had a couple handed to me. I figured it would be rude to say no and then they sat at the bottom of my T-shirt draw for years. Never even considered wearing them.
