The whole thread started about high housing costs.
I googled houses for sale in my area and there are homes available under $40k
They are the size and type of home my parents owned and me, a boomer, grew up in. A starter home isn’t supposed to be a 5 bedroom McMansion but Gen Z expects it to be because that’s what they grew up in

The class 3 years before me in high school protested the school’s dress code and staged a sit in demonstration until the administration agreed to lift it.
Can you imagine a life where girls were forced to wear dresses or skirts and jeans were banned.

I lived in a dorm during the semester. Not an expensive apartment or frat house.
During the summers I lived at home with my parents so yes, in that sense they did provide free room and food for 3 months.

I’m not too proud to admit I like fast food. Gave it up for a couple of years. Did strict Keto and lost 2 bills but like a crack addiction I’ve backslid.
Best burger: Five Guys
Best fries: McDonald’s
Best fish sandwich: McDonald’s
Best chicken nuggets: Wendy’s
Best dipping sauce for nuggets (what type): the old Hot Mustard from McD - I don’t think it’s available anymore
Best chicken sandwich: Culver’s grilled chicken no bun. Ate it several times per week on keto
Best breakfast sandwich (which type): Dunkin’ Sausage Egg Cheese Croissant
Best taco (what type): Bring back the Taco Bell Enchirito
Best chicken (bone-in): Not a fan so KFC by default
Best tasting unique menu item: McRib

I’m trying my utmost not to fully comment on this issue because I’ll end up sounding like my grandpa who “walked 10 miles to school in 20 inches of snow UPHILL both ways”
But I will say - gammanu and skibum for the win.
Yeah, I’m a whiny boomer, but I paid my own way. No student loans, very little help from my parents. Graduated with zero debt. How did I do it? I worked my ass off in high school to get any scholarship money I could. Went to a state school not an expensive private college. (Some state schools are ranked pretty high) but more importantly I worked my ass off in
115 degree factory jobs in the summer where I earned good money. I wasn’t touring Europe or working an unpaid internship. Fuck the millennials and the Gen XYZ who didn’t do the same

I’m not sure why heels are required - the Mons Venus in Tampa didn’t used to require heels, it’s been awhile so not sure if that’s the still the case, but nothing is as sexy as a tanned, blonde “10” walking around the club totally nude except for a pair of white tennis shoes.

Glacier Park itself makes the state number one. Jaw-dropping scenery.
But additionally, a small portion of Yellowstone is located in Montana and breathtaking Beartooth Highway which connects Yellowstone with Red Lodge is one of the most beautiful drives in the country

I had a connecting flight at the Cincinnati airport when they lost power during a thunderstorm. There was plenty of emergency lighting so it wasn’t dark or anything like that - it was just strange because all the restaurants and bars and ticket counters were closed.

My college dorm lost power once. 11th floor. There was a little emergency lighting around the elevators but for the most part it was pitch black in the hallways with no source of outside light
