OT: for you normal sized members what does your normal eating patern look like ?I've been fat my whole life. Sometimes I feel like I eat a lot, but not always. Sometimes I wondered if my Dad was my real biological father. Lol. When he joined the Navy in WWII, he weighed less than 100 pounds. He had to get to 105 by the end of basic training and he made it. But he never weighed more than 120. Yet, he often ate more than I did. Even up until the time he died on his 80's

ExitsI tend to go to safe, (somewhat) upscale clubs. So I don't normally worry too much. But I've told the story about the New Year's Eve brawl I witnessed at a dive club. I didn't leave, but I "inched" toward the exit, making sure I had a clear fast departure lane if the fighting got too close

Take a 12 inch medium pizza for example. The menu probably says it serves 3-4 people. But I've always downed a 12" pizza. I'm satisfied but now overly fill. Depends on how thick the crust is.

OT: New Taco Bell cheese core and crunchy core BurritosI just tried one today!
You're right - the spicy jalapeno isn't that hot, but it still overwhelms the cheese a bit. I wanna try the crunchy one to see if more cheeee flavor comes thru.
It's not bad at all.

Voter ID?This is such an easy question, I'm not sure why there is even a debate
"Vote early and vote often" is a quote attributed to Al Capone in Chicago. So, is that the type of individual that opposes voter ID?
Dominic on ignore. Lol

Aly is uber hot. But I saw her nude photos in the ESPN body issue and her muscular butt and thighs were kind of a turn off. She's one of those girls that looks better clothed.

OT: 110m Hurdles SemisI saw some weightlifting early in the evening. I'm intrigued that all the elite lifters come from the same general area around the Caspian and Black Seas.
Armenia, Georgia, Estonia, Iran. and all the "stan" counties.
I've noticed in this Olympics just how much each area of the world excel in different sports.
Weight lifters as noted
Sprinters from the U.S. and Caribbean Islands
Distance runners from East Africa
Swimmers are generally whites from the U.S., Australia, and Europe
Sports involving hand-eye coordination are usually Esst Asian
Gymnastics are US, Eastern Europe and China
The debate over whether its cultural or evolutionary & genetics fascinates me .

OT: Men's 100 meter finalsSorry ^^
if you like watching any of less popular sports like rowing, or shooting, or archery, or even boxing -- you only get them on the cable NBC networks.
I bet soon there will a la carte Olympics. You will customize what events you want to see

Gatlin got caught. But it wouldn't surprise me whatsoever if Bolt was doping. Too much circumstantial evidence. He just hasn't been caught. And I'm not singling him out. Probably all the elite ones are.

Young OlympiansThe daughter of former NFL quarterback Randall Cunningham is a high jumper. She is 18 and I believe she just graduated high school. I have not seen her. Field events seem to get little coverage

"Also, why no basketball shown during week 1?"
Dominic,
You don't get CNBC or MSNBC or NBCSN?
I just have basic cable - no extras - and I have 4 NBC channels showing the Olympics. I think the USA Network even had some weekend coverage.
One of the channels showed all the USA basketball games. One evening I came home from work to see the US struggle to beat Australia

Would You Move to Access Better Strip Clubs? No.
Unless you're lucky enough to be a career field that you can jump jobs easily, why would anyone consider this? In general you need to have a good job first, then comes the strip clubs
Not to hijack the thread - but this reminds me of the dilemma the U.S. is facing regarding our move to a service based economy. If we lose all of our manufacturing jobs, what's the point of having services we can't afford?
That's my point in a round about fashion I was trying to make about moving.

OT: Men's 100 meter finalsI agree. The NBC coverage is horrible.
I understand that women's gymnastics is highly rated so they want to show it in prime-time (on tape delay) but on their very own 6:30 newscast (eastern time) they revealed one of the winners. I'm guessing it might have been unintentional. The network execs must having steaming. Since I knew the winner already I didn't bother to watch
