- review #410929Invalid dateThis version has slightly more details than the other one that was also published
- discussion #84775Invalid dateAnyone know where on the site do you click on to extend/renew your membership? I have always written numerous reviews to keep my membership but after 10+ years my VIP status is expiring soon. Or will something appear once I lose VIP status?
- discussion #84408Invalid dateGreat info!
- discussion #84235Invalid dateThe Rest a Bit Tavern in Mine Hill NJ has been saying it’s the oldest go go bar in NJ for years. I believe it has been around for 50+ years. I think the current owner, Frankie, took it over from his Father.
- discussion #84229Invalid dateThey are closed from now (and probably closed sometime earlier this month) until they reopen 2/8/24 - so not just for 1 day
- discussion #84164Invalid dateNo lap dances any more. Haven’t been any since September. Also the small stage was recently removed but the dancers will continue to be there.
- review #406631Invalid dateLap dances are not $5, that’s the additional fee to the club for each dance you have. Dancers typically quote their own prices which I have seen from $25 - 40+ per dance.
- discussion #83788Invalid dateFrom what I was told recently (last week) by a dancer the one lap dance booth is there with the not so popular sheer curtain.
- review #398818Invalid dateMy understanding is that lap dances are no longer available. The “room” has been removed and this took place at least 2 months ago.
- discussion #82069Invalid dateI just tried submitting a review for Fringe and don’t know if it went through. I hit the Submit button but no indication of acceptance like on old site. So either it will be multiple duplicate submissions or is lost. I’m working on an iPad. Maybe someone can see if it’s in Unpublished Reviews? There was another review of the same club poster earlier today.
- discussion #81980Invalid dateAlso being from NJ, the Dollar Parade is unavoidable if you sit at bar when dancers make their rounds for tips. I definitely think you will be perceived as cheap if you do not tip every dancer at least $1. For dancers it is their job and they are there to make money. I just hate the dancers that come around more than 1 or 2 times or the ones that push for more than $1. It should be up to the customer if thy choose to give more to select dancers. Only way to avoid is to not sit at bar/stage, but even that doesn’t always work.
- discussion #81913Invalid dateVery weird seeing this post updated. Actually the owner is trying to reopen as a Juice Bar and rumor has it may be soon, but it’s been talked about for awhile. I go to another club in NJ that is owned by the same owner.
- discussion #81379Invalid dateFunny, I drove past there today too. Never actually had any “good” dances but do remember seeing some popular dancers over the years. Not true feature dancers but if I’m remembering correctly - Hot Dog Annie, Wonder Woman, etc. I think before being a go go bar it was a popular night club with some big acts appearing there.
- discussion #79467Invalid dateUpdate - drove by Madame Oars at 8pm on Tuesday and it was closed. Looked like a decent place, located on end unit of small strip mall. Then drove by Novelty Lounge at 9pm and it was also closed.
- review #383212Invalid dateNJ doesn’t allow topless if alcohol is served. Guess she chose pasties over a bikini style top.
- discussion #78171Invalid dateI heard they are reopening tomorrow, 2/12. Also heard it was related to a drug overdose or drugs in the club that caused the 2 month closure.
- review #377735Invalid dateLD’s are $30 (since covid - $10 to house, $20 to dancer)
- review #373430Invalid dateHouse keeps $10 of the $25 from each dance.
- review #372285Invalid dateI was there this week, late December. There is now only 1 lap dance area and the heavy curtains were replaced with sheer ones that you can see thru.
- discussion #74572Invalid dateNJ is open.
- discussion #74561Invalid dateMy cousin did. Ended in short marriage and divorce.
- discussion #74056Invalid dateI believe it was for sale well before Covid started.
- discussion #73328Invalid dateHaven’t seen any open inside, not allowed. Open ones I’ve seen are: Club 15, Jefferson; Rest A Bit, Maine Hill; and The Daily Planet, Oak Ridge.
- review #369904Invalid dateDated review. Yes, they have a large outdoor area behind the club. About 1/3 is covered by a tent and the remaining fenced in area is uncovered. I drove by on Monday late afternoon and they were closed, not sure if operating days/times have changed for outdoor area
- discussion #72589Invalid dateClub 15 in Northwest NJ is open with an outdoor area. They fenced in behind the building and put up a large tent (w/o sides) and also have more tables in an adjacent open area. No lap dances. It wasn’t open when I stopped by so no other details. They did have a food and drink menu posted on the wall. I think masks are required to go inside and use the bathroom.
- discussion #72650Invalid dateA local club in Northern NJ (Club 15j is open with an outdoor area. They fenced in behind the building and put up a large tent (w/o sides) and also uncovered tables in adjacent open area. No lap dances. It wasn’t open when I stopped by so no other details. Also another local club has a back deck area so they are also open. Much smaller area.
- discussion #71333Invalid dateNJ too!
- review #361974Invalid dateI think this is the wrong club. Scores has a bar.
- review #359212Invalid dateNone of this is correct. Wrong club. That’s why I rejected it.
- discussion #63670Invalid dateBare Den in Andover. The Harem in Lodi. There are others, just don’t remember right now.
- discussion #61933Invalid dateI’ve always referred to any dancers that are not Chocolate or Vanilla to be Strawberry.
- discussion #61513Invalid dateFunny you bring this subject up. I have almost always gone by the “10 Car Rule” if there are less than 10 cars I don’t go in. There are a couple of exceptions. If the club doesn’t have its own lot it’s difficult to tell how many cars are just for the club. Sometimes if it’s a smaller club I will go in with less also if it’s an odd time (close to opening, etc). My thoughts have always been - at least 2-3 cars for bouncer, bartender, manager; hopefully a few for dancers and the remaining ones for at least a few customers. In my area (NW NJ) some dancers have drivers take them to/from the club, so this impacts the “Rule”
- discussion #59445Invalid dateOther than the newly reopened Scores in A.C. Most other clubs are terrible. Not sure about N.Y.C. But there are some decent clubs in Northern NJ.
- discussion #58941Invalid dateThanks for the advice so far. If I go anywhere I will be sure to write reviews.
- discussion #58243Invalid dateNot sure if there are any in your area but Mission BBQ is a smaller chain that’s much better than Dickey’s. Before finding Mission I use to go to Dickey’s a lot - not any more.
- discussion #50595Invalid dateWhen I added a club a few years ago, the club had to be added first. Once it was on the list you could then submit a review.
- discussion #49675Invalid dateStopped at 3 clubs (go go bars) after a late Mother's Day lunch. One was closed for Mother's Day. One was slow and had only 2-3 dancers and the third one was like a typical Sunday. That's the NW NJ update.
- discussion #46809Invalid dateWow! I go to that club. I don't recall seeing her there, but she could have been there and just not noticed.
- discussion #46061Invalid dateMost club Halloween parties are/were on the Fri/Sat of the previous weekend. I just got back from a quick and disappointing visit (8pm) from my local club. Very few customers (5 or 6) and about the same number of dancers. Probably a good night to pass on the clubs.
- discussion #45260Invalid dateMy buddy thinks her name may have been Sara.
- discussion #42453Invalid dateHeading to Pinehurst for golf trip.
- discussion #40971Invalid dateYou could also check out The Grandview in Gouldsboro. Usually doesn't get busy till later on in the evening. Only issue is dancers ask for tip of $20 for each lapdance ($20) but usually decent quality dancers.
- discussion #34719Invalid dateI had already visited my mother, so I stopped at a local gogo bar afterwards. Bad decision, was around 5pm and only 2 dancers working. I was also told they planned on leaving soon. Only stayed a few minutes, drove by anothe nearby gogo bar - only 5 cars in parking lot so didn't even waste my time going in. I agree Mothers Day is not a good day for clubbing.

- discussion #32627Invalid dateLas summer I met a dancer who is deaf. She only danced part time and would communicate either by using a note pad or reading you lips. I still keep in touch with her via text messages.
- discussion #30721Invalid dateI went there last summer. Was not impressed with the clubs there. I was actually surprised at the lack of quality clubs considering how large this city is. Our favorite was Cheerleaders.
- discussion #17572Invalid dateWent to 2 places in Jersey last night - Smiles and Club 15 from about 10pm - 11:30pm. Both places were definitely quieter than normal. Smiles had about 10 dancers and probably the same amount of customers. No real hot dancers (probably because of the holiday). Became a dollar parade so we left to go to Club 15. Stayed there till 11:30pm. Only 5 dancers on shift and not many more customers. Did get a good LD. So overall NYE is not a good night in this area (Northwest New Jersey) for strip clubs.
- review #343745Invalid dateThis is not a review of the Hitching Post. This was also posted as a review for Hott 22 which seems correct.
- review #343747Invalid dateBased on description of lap dance room - this was definitely NOT the Hitching Post. Fits the description of Hott 22, but I haven't been there in years.
- review #342021Invalid dateI was there yesterday and I am almost certain the old curtains are back. Just wish some of the dancers would retire. Also wish they would give dancers set stage times so they don’t all come for dollars at the same time. Way too many dancers behind the stage at once most of the time.
- review #287374Invalid dateMost of this is accurate especially about the older dancers. But, the Rest A Bit has been at the same location for many many years if not all of it's 50 years of existence. Maybe you are confusing it with the old Smiles II which has closed down.
