New Police Tactic to harass Oasis

Thursday, January 27, 2022 4:03 PM
I drove past Oasis about 1 AM. Saw lots of police cars parked along the street. As someone left Oasis they were almost immediately pulled over by two units. That is usually a DUI stop. On the highway headed north I passed 3 more cars pulled over in a similar manner within about 1.5 miles.

Seems the city has declared war on this club - what a bunch of pricks - a strip-club has the right to be in business like any other business

Doraville already had a reputation for writing too many traffic tickets.

Recently a "routine" police patrol was parked outside a local strip club. Late in the evening the officer noticed a man leaving the club so intoxicated that he could barely walk. The man stumbled around the parking lot for a few minutes, with the officer quietly observing. After what seemed an eternity and trying his keys on five vehicles, the man managed to find his car, which he fell into. He was there for a few minutes as most of the other patrons left the club and drove off. Finally, he started the car, switched the wipers on and off (it wasn't raining or snowing), flicked the indicators on and off, tooted the horn, and then switched on the lights. He moved the vehicle forward a few inches, reversed a little, and then remained stationary for a few more minutes as more patrons left in their vehicles. At last he pulled out of the parking lot and started to drive slowly down the road. The police officer, having patiently waited all this time, now started up the patrol car, put on the flashing lights, and promptly pulled the man over and carried out a breathalyzer test. To his amazement, the breathalyzer indicated no evidence of the man having consumed alcohol at all! Dumbfounded, the officer said "I'll have to ask you to accompany me to the police station. This breathalyzer equipment must be broken". "I doubt it", said the man. "Tonight I'm the designated decoy."

We have had that kind of police harassment of strip club customers in Sunnyvale. It sucks. SJG

Not obstruction of justice, but interference with a police officer, maybe. It's a nuisance charge, something that officers can annoy you with when they have nothing else. I had one of those when I was practically the designated decoy. A drunk girl spilled beer all over my shirt. I was already having a bad night, so I called it quits early, a little before midnight. This bar was known for a lot of drug activity and inexperienced binge drinkers. Driving home, I was followed from the first turn out of the parking light be the local PD. It was a cold-ass Chicago night. I cracked my windows, the cops said I was speeding, I know for a fact I wasn't and said as much. They told me to get out of the truck, and I told them there was no reason for me to since I wasn't speeding and they had no cause to pull me over. One cop asked the other if that sounded like interference to him, his partner agreed, and they demanded I get out and arrested me. They gave me a roadside sobriety, which of course I passed. An unlawful and unfruitful search of my vehicle ensued. They took me back to the station and processed me, and I bonded out the same night. It was such a BS ticket, the DA wouldn't even prosecute. They had to hire a private attorney, who I mopped the floor with. The cop didn't even show up since they had no evidence of me speeding and no PC to pull me over and issue the citation. All it did was waste my time and tie up my $200 bond for a few weeks. That's really the most unpleasant interaction I ever had with cops in uniform. Cops out of uniform, well, that's a different story.

If your behind the wheel of a car, cops can use the very slightest pretext to pull you over. Driving the car makes for a liability. ^Shailynn has still got a year and a half of high school left. Then he is going to Bob Jones University. And then he is going to restart the Dallas ministry of Robert Tilton: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Unhqk-sAtZ4 SJG Weather Report - Weather Report (1971) [FULL ALBUM] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nF0CYhVu4gI

Billy Graham started out there, but then to his credit he left it. But by singing for the West Texas Christian Glee Club, Shailynn has gotten himself a full scholarship. SJG Monalisa Twins https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dCprklY93DI

^ The little sister of an early-childhood friend went there. Majored in Christian Music (or whatever they call it). Nice, loving family but a bit over the top with religion and conspiracy theories. You might like that they're pretty anti-vax. Tried to argue with me that ivermectin and supplements prevent COVID.

Well I don't go along with ivermectin or supplements. But the cure for COVID is the same as the cure for the flu, SLEEP. Most COVID infections are not even felt. This is what immunizes us and this is what brings the mortality rate numbers into the sanity realm. The number of hidden infections has always been the unknown in this entire epidemic of hysteria. The precautions have done nothing except to prolong this and promote neuroticism. Per the original topic, I'm going down to Atlanta to club with my buddy who lives down there. We will definitely skip this place, as he's on probation. It's his birthday and I'll buy him some extras.

As I have explained many places, of the doings in strip clubs, I have never gone along with the concept of EXTRAS or of BUYING DANCES or of BUYING EXTRAS or of BUYING ANYTHING.
